  1. Steps to Schedule an Appointment for a Person
    1. Access Calendar Tab
    2. From the calendar tab, click anywhere in the calendar.
    3. Select Appointment Type
    4. Choose between recording a clinical or service appointment.
  2. Navigate to Calendar Details
    1. After selecting "Next," you will be taken to the calendar details for the new event.
    2. Choose a Specialist
      1. Select a specialist that the person may be seeing.
  3. Connect to a Person
    1. Connect the appointment to the person for whom the appointment is being scheduled.
    2. Select a Clinic
      1. Choose the clinic, which can be an external clinic if needed.
    3. Provide Subject Details
      1. Enter a brief description of what the appointment is for in the subject field.
    4. Set Date and Time
      1. Choose the date and time for the appointment.
      2. Adjust Appointment Duration (if needed)
      3. The default duration is set to 1 hour, but this can be adjusted as necessary.
  4. Assign Staff
    1. Assign a staff member who will be taking the person to the appointment.
    2. Set Appointment Status
    3. Leave the status as "Scheduled" since the appointment has not yet happened. If it had happened, you could mark it as "Completed" or "Canceled."
    4. Specify Appointment Type
    5. Choose whether it's an initial or follow-up appointment. In this instance, select "Follow-up."
  5. Enter Detailed Description
    1. Provide a detailed description of what the appointment is for, as this is the reason for the person going to the appointment.
  6. Confirm Appointment
    1. Once all details are entered, the appointment will now appear on the calendar.
  7. Manage Appointment Day
    1. When it's time for the user to take the person to the appointment, select the calendar item and choose "More Details" in the related tab.
  8. Print Consultation Form
    1. Scroll down to view attachments and print out the consultation form.
    2. Take Form to Appointment
    3. The printed form should be taken to the appointment. It will include the reason for the visit and any healthcare concerns.
  9. Physician's Input
    1. The physician will fill out their findings and recommendations on the form and sign it.
  10. Return and Scan Form
    1. The form will be sent back with the person and the staff. It should then be scanned into the system to be recorded into the person's chart.
