DrCloudEHR enables you to aggregate all of the  psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP) encounters created for a patient during a month into a single encounter form that you can submit for billing.

Define a PRP Facility

When you define a facility that provides services as part of a PRP program, select Psychiatric Rehabilitation from the Program Type menu in the Settings section. The facility name is added to the list of PRP Facility menu options you choose from on the Compile PRP Program page.

Define PRP Categories

Create three categories to use when you create PRP encounters: One to use for offsite services, one for onsite services, and another for services rendered in both offsite and onsite locations.

Select 15 from the Place of Service menu in the category to use for offsite services.

Select 52 from the menu in the category to use for onsite services.

Select 49 from the menu for the category to use for blended (offsite and onsite) services.

Configure Programs Settings

Before you create encounters for a PRP program, configure the program settings program. You can add new settings for a program, or edit existing settings.

Note that the codes provided for Service Code and Billable Service Code must be different. Ensure that the Service Code value is HCPCS:H2018-u2.

Note that you should not change the existing values for No. of Visits, Billable Amount and Services Code, and Billable Service Code fields. If you do modify the Service Code and Billable Service Code, ensure that each value is different. The Service Code value must be HCPCS:H2018-u2.

  1. Click the Billing tab.
  2. Expand the PRP Program tab in the left navigation bar, and then click Settings
  3. Select the PRP type, and then select the program subtype.



  4. Click Add to create new settings, or click a program to modify the existing settings.



  5. Click Save.

Generate an Aggregated PRP Encounter Form

Generate the aggregated encounter form for each patient in a program on a monthly basis. 

  1. Click the Billing tab.
  2. Click PRP Program in the left navigation bar, and then click Compile PRP Program.
  3. Start typing the patient's name or patient identifier number, then select the patient.
  4. Select the facility where PRP services are provided from the PRP Facility menu.
  5. Select the place of service from the POS menu.
  6. Select the month and year during which the PRP services were provided.



  7. Click Submit

Generate Reports

You can generate a report listing details for PRP encounters generated during a selected month and year. You can print the report, or download it as a .csv file.

  1. Click the Billing tab.
  2. Click PRP Program in the left navigation bar, and then click Status Report.
  3. Select your criteria, and then click Submit.
