In this guide, we will outline how to log a new task in a person's chart effectively. This process is essential for keeping track of activities related to individuals in your care.

  1. Navigate to the person's chart and locate the "Activity" section. Select "New Task" to begin creating a task.
  2. Choose the "Additive" option to create a new task.
  3. In the subject field, you can either select from the dropdown options or type in your own subject. For example, you might enter "Arranging trip details for a family trip Jazzy's taken with her spouse and kids."
  4. Set a due date for the task. In this case, a due date of three weeks from the current date is appropriate.
  5. Use the search function to find and add contacts related to the task. For instance, you can add Jazzy's spouse to the task.
  6. Ensure that the task is related to the correct person. In this example, Jazzy is the individual whose chart is being updated.
  7. Assign the task to yourself to indicate that you will be responsible for its completion.
  8. Set the status of the task to "In Progress" if you have already begun working on it.
  9. Save the task. Once saved, it will appear in the person's chart under "My Tasks."
  10. Additionally, the task will be displayed on the homepage under tasks, indicating that it is an upcoming task that needs to be completed.

By following these instructions, you can efficiently manage tasks within a person's chart, ensuring that all necessary activities are logged and tracked properly.
