Follow these instructions to efficiently fill out a progress note from within the person's chart.

  1. Scroll down to the progress notes section in the person's chart and select the tab.
  2. Choose from the available options: residential, daily, post, home weekly, or PCT progress note.
  3. If you select the daily progress note, click on "new" to access the types of daily progress notes: residential, companion, respite, or in-home.
  4. Enter the shift dates and shift start time.
  5. Fill out the health and wellness activities section. Ensure to check if adaptive equipment is functioning properly and if any appointments were completed.
  6. Proceed to the activities and communications section. Document any visitors, behavior concerns, and community, recreational, social, and leisure activities.
  7. Provide observations and communications in the respective sections.
  8. Add any general comments that may require further detail.
  9. Sign the form, print your name, and include the date for which you are completing the progress note.
  10. Save the completed progress note.

Once saved, you can view your progress note under the progress notes section. To print the daily progress note, select the appropriate option. If edits are necessary, click on the edit pencil icon to make changes.
