Bed Management

Your DrCloudEHR system now has the capability to swap Client beds. You can use this enhancement to improve Client security at your clinic.

Example scenario:

Client 1 is admitted and allocated bed A1.  Then Client 2 is admitted and allocated A2.  If it is determined that Client 2 poses a security risk for Client 1, they will need to move one of them to another room.  To do this, they may need to swap two Clients. Say Client 3 is admitted to bed B in Room B. The clinic can hold Client 3, move Client 2 to bed B and then move Client 3 to bed A2

Navigate to Practice > Administrative > Bed Management > Swap Patient Beds to utilize this feature.

Reports

Entering Client name in the Patient field will now display PID# and HRN/External ID# of the Client. This capability has been extended to all reports. Below is a sample

User/Provider Names Display

Provider/User name is now displayed in a consistent format across the application, thus reducing confusion. The format can be configured using the global flag "User Name Display Format"

Medical Problems

Medical problems reported by Clients can now be captured and marked as such in DrCloudEHR

• Reported by Patient field in Patients > Patient Summary Chart > Medical Problems.
• Reported By Patient column on the Clinical/Issues page
  
  This gives Providers more information when making official diagnosis. 
  

Patient Search

Patient search feature is now enhanced with tile / list option and the ability to hyper-link directly to chart or documents. You can search for active and discharged patients simultaneously

• You can search by
  • PID
  • First name, last name
  • DOB
  • phone number in ###-###-#### format

• The Search results appear in List format or Tile format. The Tile format provides options to directly view patient summary page, check documents, view encounter history and add new encounters directly from the Result section as displayed in the following image:
  
  

To use the new feature, Please disable the "Use Legacy Search" global flag.

Patient Demographics

The Patient Demographics page has a new look! Click here to see the new layout

To use the new layout, enable the Activity focused Summary Chart global flag.

Lab Notifications

The Lab Notifications check box at Administration > User > Edit User > Access can now be used to enable/disable the Lab notification feature for a specific user. Earlier, these Lab Notifications were sent to all the users who were assigned the Lab User ACL.

Add Insurance

Users can now add Client's insurance information directly from the New Encounter page using the new Add Insurance button. This option is added to ease the process of adding insurance.

To use this feature, Please enable the "Enable Add Insurance at New Encounter Page" global flag.
