DrCloudEHR provides an interface that allows you to submit procedure orders electronically to Kashi Clinical Laboratories. 

Patient demographics data in DrCloudEHR is synchronized with the Kashi system daily. To place a procedure order through the Kashi portal, you first open the patient's chart in DrCloudEHR. When you click the Kashi Labs tab in DrCloudEHR, the Kashi portal opens with the patient's lab record loaded. You can then place the order through the portal.

After a requested procedure is completed, DrCloudEHR automatically downloads the results from the laboratory and matches them with the patient for whom the tests were done. The application notifies the provider who ordered the tests and enables the provider to review and sign off on the results. You must be a registered user on the Kashi Portal to be able to access the portal from DrCloudEHR. 

Place an Order with Kashi

The Kashi interface allows you to submit procedure orders electronically from DrCloudEHR. You must first select the patient, and then create or open an encounter to submit a procedure order. 

1. Click the Clients tab, and then search for the patient you want to place the order for.
2. Click the Kashi Labs tab in the left hand navigation bar. The Kashi portal opens with the patient's record displayed. 
3. Create the order in the Kashi Portal.
