You can use the Counselor Dashboard to quickly view your current patient list. If you are a supervisor, you can view the patient lists for the providers in your team. You can export the patient list to a Microsoft Excel (.xlsx) file.

You can select the columns to display in the dashboard. You can also display the status of forms associated with a patient, and access an incomplete form or create a missing form directly from the dashboard.

View Your Dashboard

Use the dashboard to view your patient list, or to . The dashboard indicates your role in the patient's treatment:

  • (P): Primary provider

  • (T): Member of the care team

If you do not have an appointment scheduled with a patient, you can click the New link in the Next Appointment column to create an appointment.

You can view the status of encounter forms in progress for a patient. The form status is based on the Golden Thread rules and form completion criteria that apply to the form. For more information on Golden Thread and form completion rules, see Using Golden Thread Rules for Quality Management.

When you select to include a form in the dashboard, a column for the form displays in the dashboard. The column contains an icon indicating the form's status. Click the icon at the top of the dashboard to view a legend describing the meaning of each icon.

If a form is incomplete or overdue, you can access the form directly from the dashboard. If a form has not been created yet but is associated with an encounter, you can create the form from the dashboard. If a form has not been created, and it is not tied to an encounter, you cannot create the form from the dashboard.

  1. Click the Inbox tab. 
  2. Click Counselor Dashboard in the left navigation bar.
  3. Select the provider for which you want to view the patient list from the Clinician menu.
  4. Select whether to view admitted or discharged patients.
  5. Expand the Manage Columns region, and then select the columns to include or remove from the dashboard display.



  6. Select the forms to display in each column in the Forms section of the page. DrCloudEHR adds a new column for each form you select. 



  7. The column for a form contains an icon indicating the form's status. Click the icon at the top of the dashboard to view a legend describing the meaning of each icon.






  8. Click an icon in the column for a form to view the existing form, or to create the form if it is tied to an encounter.
