You can create Electronic Treatment and Medication Use the electronic Medication Administration Records (ETAR) to track eMAR) feature provided with DrCloudEHR to track administration of medications provided to patients in residential facilities. 

When a medication is ordered through DrFirst Rcopia, it is automatically added to DrCloudEHR. You can then add the medication to the MAR for a patient.

Configure the Drug Interval Times

Specify Before you begin using the MAR, you must define the time intervals at which medications should be administered to patients. You select the time intervals when you add a medication to the MAR for a patient.

  1. Click the Practice tab.
  2. Click the Expand the Administrative tab, and then select Drug Interval Times .
  3. Click the Add drug interval times button.

  4. Click the clock icon and select the drug intervals and the interval times. You must select times for all of the fields displayed.

Add Medications to a Patient

MAR

You can add medications to the MAR for a patient.

  1. Click the Patients tab, and then search for the patient for whom you want to add an ETARa medication.
  2. Click the Clinical tab at the top of the Patient Summary Chart page, and then select ETAR EMAR V1.

    The DrCloudEHR EMAR page opens with a list of existing medications added for the patient.
  3. Click the Add button. 
  4. Select the medication and the date and time at which to administer it.
  5. Click Save

  6. Optionally select a medication, and then click the Add button next to the Select menu. The RCopia DrFirst application opens.

  7. Fill in the medication administration details in DrFirst.
